Thales IDBridge K50 is a universal, multi-purpose, SIM-sized secure USB smart card reader designed for digital identity management and secure access to critical data and systems in energy-intensive and office environments. With an embeddable smart card and a durable sealed design, the K50 offers robust two-factor authentication - access requires both the device and the PIN.

The device operates on a standard USB 2.0 interface (12 Mbps, full speed), supports automatic CCID installation and is fully compatible with Windows (including Windows 10), Linux and Mac OS platforms. Operation is easy - after connecting to the USB, just enter the PIN and the user gains access to all stored certificates, keys and security applications.

IDBridge K50 protects against phishing, unauthorized access and malware; it provides full control over identity protection both on the corporate network and during remote access. For a higher level of protection, the token is encapsulated in a durable case that shows signs of an attempt to open it (tamper-evident), making it suitable for environments with a higher risk of manipulation.

It also supports the SafeNet Authentication Client middleware, which enables secure cryptographic operations, PKI management and a wide range of applications (network authentication, digital document signature, email encryption and internet banking). A blue LED indicator signals readiness and the progress of operations, the robust design is resistant to water and electrostatic discharges (ESD up to 8 kV).
The IDBridge K50 can be personalized - depending on the needs, a company logo or graphics can be added. The compact format and top reliability make the K50 an ideal solution for corporations, banks, eGovernment or healthcare applications, where rapid identity verification and maximum security play a crucial role
